Las 100 mejores canciones de los 90


La década de los 90 fue sin lugar a duda uno de los momentos más álgidos de la historia del pop/rock. Volviendo la mirada 20 años atrás, la revista NME ha seleccionado las supuestas 100 mejores canciones de esa época en la que grupos como R.E.M., Pulp, Radiohead o Nirvana marcaron un antes y un después.
   
Los 90’s tenían algo especial. La MTV, entonces respetable, fue la educación musical con la que creció la generación X, la generación que hoy se conoce como la generación “nimileurista”. Todos ellos recuerdan con melancolía los videoclips de ‘Smells Like Teen Spirit’ de Nirvana, ‘Supersonic’ de Oasis o ‘Basket Case’ de Green Day o el ‘Vogue’ de Madonna.

Dos décadas después, aún sobrevive la mayoría de aquellos grupos que compusieron la banda sonora de muchos treintañeros de hoy en día. De otros, como R.E.M, Nirvana, Jeff Buckley o The Verve solo quedan los recuerdos, sus discos, sus obras…Con el fin de homenajear a la década más nostálgica, la revista NME ha seleccionado las que, según su criterio, son las 100 mejores canciones de los 90. La lista la lidera Pulp con ‘Common People’, justo por delante de Nirvana, Suede, Radiohead y Manic Street Preachers.
